Light at night

Still light when I pulled in at home this evening. Saw a masive dog fox in a field sitting upright near a coppice catching the sun on hus chest, loads of rabbits bouncing about nibbling and some water fowl from the river. Nature all free on the train.

All my old worms died 'cos I put too much orange peel in the compost bin , so I've got new ones, and made them at home in the nice clean orange free bin with compost and fresh kitchen waste. Should be all go by end of next month.

Ladybirds in the house. Must have been sleeping somewhere and been woken by the heating. Tried to put them on plants near windows so they may catch some insects, but I don't hold out much hope. Shame in a few months they will be my front line against insect invasion. Can always order more from wriggly worms.

Tulips bulbs I planted last autumn out front appearing, they will be great big purple ones hopefully. Long line along side the path giving a suiably grand approach to the house.

Knee sore today had to run for the train and basically I had to stop. Not good. But can walk okay and row, so the hell with it.

Thats all for now.
